1% Changes

Whether you want to lose weight, make more money, or make positive changes in your most important relationships, often the idea of making the big changes necessary is overwhelming.

If you change 1% everyday, after the next 100 days you will have changed 100%.

So, if you know meditation would help you but you are intimidated by the idea of trying to be quiet and mentally silent for 30 mins or more, start with a minute… 1 minute! And do it today, and tomorrow and so on. Maybe next week add another minute.

If you need to stop eating donuts, start by throwing out the last bite, the next time throw out the last two, etc. You need to start a habit of exercise? Start today with 1 minute of exercise! Do 1 minute every day for a week, then next week add a minute.

Eventually, I bet you forget to stop! When you are making such small changes that there is no fight with your willpower, or fear of change from your subconscious, it’s easy to do. Then over time those small changes add up to a transformation!

Give it a shot. Today I did crunches and leg lifts for about 2 minutes! I started! You can too.
