Take Time for Yourself

Every day I ask my clients what they do for themselves. Most often, after a long thoughtful pause, the answer is “not much” or “nothing.”

I’m going to challenge you today to find an hour in every week and PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR that it is time JUST FOR YOU. It doesn’t matter what you do- just get out from in front of a screen and do something for yourself: go for a hike, take a long bath, read a book you’ve been meaning to pick up, play an instrument, meditate or pray – just do it for yourself, by yourself.

Make some time for yourself. You need it. It’ll make you feel better, I promise.
